This Matter of Marriage – Audiobook Online

This Matter of Marriage is a novel by Debbie Macomber, published in the 1990s. The story follows Hallie McCarthy, a 30-year-old architect who sets a goal to find a husband within a year. She goes on numerous disastrous dates and is attracted to her neighbor Steve Marris, but he is still trying to win back his ex-wife. They become friends, and sometimes friends become lovers or more.

The novel has been adapted into a TV movie of the same name, released in 1998. It stars Leslie Hope as Hallie Mitchell, Sherry Miller as Donnalee, Michael Nouri as Larry Mercer (Steve Marris), and Rick Peters as Man 1 (the neighbor).

I worked at a bookstore and came across a book by Debbie Macomber. I’ve read everything she’s written and really love her books. I like that they are clean and don’t have any stains in them. They’re about real people you wish you could meet.
This Marriage Matter is one of my favorite books. I found it because I wanted to read some of Debbie’s old books. It made me laugh so much and I want to read it again. I would recommend it to as many customers as possible. I’m 30 years old and single so I can sympathize with the story. It’s just a sweet story about finding true love and not just lust. The characters build a real relationship. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves Debbie Macomber’s books and anyone looking for a new author. She is one of the best authors in the romance genre. I always look forward to reading more of her books.
