The narration is amazing and it shows how a young German Jew at the height of the persecution almost destroyed the world.

A thorough account of the life of a super spy
The spectacular journey de Force of a Soviet super-spy is well-hidden in an English country woman. Mother, worker, lover …. spy. A wonderful cold war story found through the eyes of an incredible woman, born as a product of the Second World War. Well written and wonderfully read by an excellent voice. Audiobooks are really recommended.

Surprisingly interesting
Well written and narrated, a story certainly has a genuine beginning, middle, and conclusion. I was expecting another gripping story with so many Russian names thrown in that I lost track of the players, but this book is like an arrow shot from start to finish; I could have cheered the conclusion.

Love this book
Ben Macintyre did it again. He wrote a well-researched book that captivated me from the very first page. His writing is engaging and the narrator is perfect. Highly recommend this book.
