I want to give it 100 starts. After just 2 hours of listening to the book, I started using it with my kids (9 and 12 year old boys). I found online a list of needs and feelings, telling everyone in my family that I was learning a new way of speaking, so if they could be patient with me while I was looking for a need and my feelings to express what I like to say.
I resolved all the conflicts that guys had when they were with me. There is no need for negative consequences. It’s amazing. My 12-year-old son has a lot of negativity in him and good luck in terms of self-esteem. My heart breaks when I can’t help him. We affirm every morning, meditate, manifest, countless hours talking about the power of thought and the choices only he can make. But nothing really helps him enjoy his life to the fullest.
This book teaches how to show your care to a person and the amazing results that will come after a person realizes that someone really cares about their needs. I realize that after all I’ve done to him, he still thinks no one cares and understands what he wants. But when I started repeating the words “your need,” he knew that I was here for him, for his needs and feelings, not just to convince him of what he wanted. He should do to feel better. As a result, I don’t have to ask the kids twice about anything (take out the trash, make the room, make the bed). They feel good and they want to help me with everything. I’ve only been working on the book for 6 days so far and I can totally see the difference in myself.
I love the way I feel, I love the way I communicate with people (my husband included), I love the fact that I can express my own feelings and needs without blaming anyone or feeling sorry for myself. feel guilty about it. This book is the answer from heaven that I have begged for. It changed my life in such a short time and I’m so grateful it found me (or I found it :)) Thank you Dr.Rosenberg from all the heart!
