With her father and sister both dead and the king of guis taking over her kingdom, Cleo is yearning to take back her kingdom and uncover the mysterious answers her ring may contain, Lucia. put into a coma after using her magic to allow her father to conquer cleo’s kingdom, king guis is plotting to conquer all of mythology and Magnus is trying to get over his arranged marriage to Cleo . All the elements that I loved in book 1 apply to book 2. There are many twists and turns that some of you will probably guess and others you will never see coming. This is another great installment in the series about fallen kingdoms and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I really liked the first book, so I eagerly picked up this book with all the possibilities available. I admit I didn’t expect it to be this good!
I can’t stop reading it’s amazing!

The series continues the story as it moves into a dark phase with more sadness creeping into its pages. It’s hard to imagine how things would turn out for each of our young protagonists, but the story progresses very interestingly mainly because of the main characters.

We learn more about magic and magical creatures, gradually understanding the dangers the world faces. Honestly, the magic isn’t what sets the book apart, it’s just a vehicle for the story to progress. The Blood King is the Devil who elevates this book and removes the heroes from our protagonists.
