Audiobook Online – A Gatlin Wedding (Beautiful Creatures: The Untold Stories) by Author Kami Garcia.

A Gatlin Wedding is another in a series of novels set in the caster universe, this time taking us to the summer after Ethan’s sophomore year of college and giving us a glimpse of his father’s wedding to his former English teacher. What’s not to be expected from this novel, however, is that the wedding is largely just the setting for the sequel to Dangerous Deception’s epilogue and what appears to be the end for the Dangerous Creatures spin-off. With plot twists that are unexpectedly benign and shaded in the middle, the plot quickly turns to a short climax and too favorable ending.

Overall, things are a bit mixed. Otherwise, it’s another definite visit to the characters we’ve grown to love, complete with the necessary nostalgia, hidden messages and emotions that drew me to the novel. Another Untold Story theory. On the other hand, the story happens to end what seems like a less satisfying chapter-less epilogue to a spin-off of the two Dangerous Creatures books that, though at least the ending, certainly shouldn’t be overlooked. ranks as “untold story” status.
