A merciful death marks the start of a new series with the name of Mercy Kilpatrick. It is a suspenseful mystery thriller for which the author is known for. Mercy Kilpatrick is a special FBI agent. She has been waiting her entire life for some disaster to strike. She grew up while living off the land and was a prepper since her childhood. She was also seen off the grid in the Eagle Nest area in Oregon. A shocking tragedy changed everything and tore her family apart. She was forced to leave her own home.

A predator known by the name of a caveman is targeting people in her hometown. He was killing people in their homes and stealing weapons. There were suspicions about a possible terrorist attack. But, the details of the crime scene were drastically similar to the mysterious past of Mercy.

Mercy makes a comeback to Eagle’s Nest after being deployed there by the FBI. She has to assist the law enforcement of the locality. Mercy met Truman Daly, the police chief there. His uncle was the latest victim of the caveman. He was able to see the survivalist side of Mercy which she was trying hard to hide.

A Merciful Death will be a Warner Brothers TV series very soon. This shows the popularity of this novel which is packed with nonstop action.
