Best Selling Audiobook – Winter Garden By Kristin Hannah
Two sisters come together for the one last time on an occasion which they didn’t want to see in their life i.e the funeral of their beloved father. All their lives the two sisters have been uniquely attached to their father. Mostly the girls of the house are attracted to their mother but not Nina and Meredith.
These two sisters with opposite personalities and ways of life have remained attached to their family because of their father and now he is going to depart forever. As far as their relationship is concerned they are two different beings, one has always tried to be with her children like a good mother and the other just like fresh air.
Whenever the two sit alone and think about their mother they just remember a tale that she used to tell them when they were kids. It’s quite beautiful to see that Kristin Hannah the author of the novel joins the whole family with one single story.
One thing that the two girls didn’t know was that the story had some real tags in it which were associated directly with their family. So their father on his deathbed asks their mother to tell the story again but this time without hiding anything. The Nightingale had historical links in it but this book has a special connection to Firefly Lane in which we also witnessed two opposite female characters just like these two sisters. However, this book appears more like a fantasy. Because there are some links to the story with the fairy tale which Anya used to narrate. Susan Ericksen starts well and ends well thus there is nothing more to say regarding narration.
