Black Ops (Full Audiobook) By Craig Alanson
The Flying Dutchman along with its mysterious alien continues to wander in space as it has lost its main course many years ago. It was trying to locate a safe haven for the people of the Earth and then the Paradise became the focus of their attention.
They fought for it though they knew that it was not their home nor was it their duty to protect or aid the people who live there. Still there were certain things about the natives and the even the land attracted them. The truth of the matter however was that they after leaving the Mother Earth never had a motive to live for thus they intentionally went the other way.
Still every now and then they talk about the planet that was once there home and the alien Al does not answer in a clear tone. Craig Alanson has written this masterpiece in an awesome manner especially the home sickness that the crew faces really bring their energy down. Though they don’t perform much of an action this time but their faces are always exhausted.
The other novels like Homefront and Renegades never had this kind of emotions and sentiments attached to them. The action is bound to come but there is a huge gap between one sensation and the other, the major part is the psychological issues that the crew deals with.
The crew can’t head back home neither it can stay on the paradise anymore thus it seems to be the end of everything as R.C. Bray also infuses a gloomy tone. We never feel such gloomy gestures and tone in the previous three parts it means that the narrator has tried to help the cause of the writer.
