City of Eternal Night is the second literary fiction book in the Crescent City series by author Kristen Painter.
Augustine and Harlow have a tentative armistice.

Although Harlow is slowly working to accept being a fae, Augustine is still learning how to be a Guardian, and as their feelings for the two grow, they don’t have an easy road ahead.

But when a young girl is stolen from the Mardi Gras Exemplar Ball – the biggest fae event of the year – Harlow and Augustine must put all their problems aside to bring her home.
