Faith McIntyre’s memories are even grim because she was never with her parents in her early years. She never saw her parents and all she knew about the people who raised her was that they adopted her from somewhere. The life went well for her and she joined the medical profession which helped her a lot in the financial aspects of her life.

Then the tables were turned all of a sudden the day she saw her twin sister badly injured and unable to speak a single word about what had happened to her. The investigation is on about Macy Crow because Faith wants to know the original cause behind all of it. Mitchell Hayden and Faith go deeper in the case and what they find are the family secrets that should be left buried in most cases. 

The investigation even lead the two to the grave of three women and the serial killer that committed the crime was still out there looking for the two sisters. Brittany Pressley has narrated so many of Burton’s works before and this one is done with accuracy like always. There are some techniques that remind us about Before She Dies and Cover Your Eyes but not the plot which is of course different all the time. This is a real thrilling chapter for mystery lovers and the fans that have been reading and listening to author’s works for the last decade or so. A lot of secrets unfold and if you are skipping some parts than the book will get confusing.
