 Dark of Night is a book jointly written by Jonathan Maberry and Rachael Lavin. The major credit, of course, goes to Jonathan who has always inspired the audience with his spectacular novels. His work mainly revolves around horror fiction and suspense along with crime mystery stories. Dark of Night is the third installment of Dead of Night and also the Joe Ledger novel series. Some of the brilliant novels written by Jonathan Maberry include Patient Zero and Lost Roads.

Ray Porter has given the narration of Dark of Night. He is outstanding with his clarity of accent and ability to deliver the true essence of characters.

The survivors of the brutal terrorist attack are now trapped in a terrifying world of monsters. They prey on the helpless people only. A few of them are zombies as well. But, they are not the only predators who are looking for a feeling of suffering and pain only.

The novel tells a great story that is based on the different worlds in collision. Three heroes in it managed to survive the apocalypse. Now, they are all set in a deadly race for the sake of saving kids from the ravenous zombies. They also need to save them from the brutal human hunters. The stakes for the heroes are quite high in this novel and the danger is even more than ever before.

Dark of Night is a quality novel where the authors did a fantastic job with its plot. The performance by Porter is also something significant to talk about. He managed to make it sound so great for the listeners that they couldn’t stop themselves from listening to it nonstop.
