Drums of Autumn – Full Audiobook Outlander Book 4 By Diana Gabaldon

Diana Gabaldon finally reunites the couple that has toiled so much to see one another and live a life together the way they planned. Claire travels in time twice and finishes a historical journey that ends in the reunion of the couple. Travelling has left marks on her mind that will remain as long as she is alive.

During her first time travel she married another man who was a Scottish warrior and though she had a good span of life with him she had to move to 1940’s. Her unborn daughter’s life was at stake that forced her to use the ancient stone and when she touches it for the second time she is with her husband but this time she loses her daughter.

 Crossing one time line and moving to the other means erasing the previous one completely and as she comes to the current era her daughter is in her memory alone. The author actually wanted to close Claire’s chapter to some extent because of which she makes her return to her spot and moves on with Brianna. New players in team no doubt infuse more energy and the same situation is with new characters that make the series more appealing. 

The book is not following Outlander and Dragonfly in Amber anymore. Though we don’t find any concluding note but the gestures of Davina Porter the narrator as well provide us with the much needed hint about the fate of the people present in the series. It is clear that not all of them will move ahead in the series after this part but the sensational and vibrant impact would be the same.
