Great story, well told. I was very disappointed to learn that the story wouldn’t make it to modern times.

I’ve been reading the Morland series for almost 30 years now. I read and re-read them periodically and find them amusing. The books are extremely well researched and packed with factual historical information and details, and also feature very well-rounded characters – especially the women. from the founder, Eleanor, to Annunciata, Jemima, Lucy, Heloise, Rosamund… a long line of strong, well-educated women is central throughout the novels.

The books are amazing – Cynthia Harrod Eagle will have to travel into the future as she has arrived today – the series just can’t be stopped!

I was completely absorbed in these books. They are written in a similar style to how I write my own. Easy to follow and very informative.

I am looking forward to discovering the future developments in the story, and keenly anticipating whether the wicked heir will receive his deserved punishment. The saga of the Morland family over numerous centuries is truly an extraordinary and magnificent tale.
