Embrace the Day A Novel – Audiobook Online

Embrace the Day is a literary fiction book by author Susan Wiggs.
With dreams of a better life, 17-year-old Genevieve Elliot undertakes an all-perilous run from England to colonial Virginia, where she and handsome border guard Roarke Adair tame the savage wilderness and survive the pain of war to build organizations.

Genevieve Elliot found out he signed the rights with an elderly businessman in Virginia. She is on the same ship as her very best friend, who is married to Roarke Adair, who has no idea that she is having a bread in the oven. Complicated process to try and explain, just follow the process.

Genevieve sees herself as an accessory before she is actually a wife, and she inherits all his debts. The rest of the first half consists of Genevieve’s efforts to work the little piece of land she has, repaying her creditors, and that takes precedence over all else; including her strong attraction to the recently widowed Roarke. The second half of the book takes on the next generation as the Adair family begins a new life in Kentucky.
