I love the book, I love the way Vhalla is growing and changing as a person, how her powers are evolving and the new things she is discovering she can do. I don’t think we’ve seen her full potential and I think she’s really going to blow our socks off in the next book.

I love Aldrik, he’s a complicated character, but I always seem to find myself drawn to people with a dark side. I really hope that there will be a happy ending for him and Vhalla, but I’m really not sure that’s possible.

Baldair is growing on me and I hope he still has a big part to play for the rest of the book, I also like Daniel but the Emperor I despise and don’t trust.
