Sixteen years later, daughter Caroline is determined to prove her mother’s innocence, and Poirot can’t get that baby song out of her mind.

Hercule Poirot solves a 16-year-old murder primarily through flashbacks of five key witnesses, one of whom committed the crime. Christie gives us an ingenious puzzle. I got half, but I don’t understand the killer.
