Midnight Soul is a romance fantasy novel. It is the fifth chapter of Fantasyland novel series. The book is beautifully written by Kristen Ashley. She is good when it comes to writing romance fantasy novels. As a testament of this claim, you are recommended to listen to the audio version of her Wild Wind novel. On top of that, you will surely like her Still Standing novel as well.

Tillie Hooper is heard once again giving the narration of this chapter. She has been performing consistently throughout this series. If you have heard her narrating in any of the prior chapter of the series then you really couldn’t imagine any other voice for the characters of this series.

Noctomo Hawthorne against his will finds herself indulged in mayhem, magic and parallel universe. He was an undercover vice cop. He soon met a very attractive woman but only to find that she is determined to find the identical twin of his in the parallel universe. Things were not going much favorable then at all. Noc gets recruited in order to help in saving the world. One thing that he does not know at all is that his fated love lives there as well.

Franka Drakkar was the one who used to wear a mask and she never takes it o. It was meant to protect herself in a world of deceit, intrigue and malice. Things started to change when Franka meets Noc and then some secrets were revealed.

This is an OK book and definitely not one of the best in the Fantasyland novel series. The book had its moments but you will find the character of Frannie not to be that good. Rather, she was extremely non-compelling this time.
