Alexander Hamilton is a biography, a memoir, which deserves to be read in order to get a good peek into the history. Just as the title of this book suggests, it is based on the life of Alexander Hamilton. The book is written by Ron Chemow who surely has done some excellent research. It bring a great story of a great man with all the right facts.

The narration of this book is done by the super talented Scott Brick. He is an absolute master when it comes to giving the best performances for audiobooks. Needless to say that his performance in this Alexander Hamilton book is outstanding as well.

The author presents Alexander Hamilton as a completely different man. His ambitions were inspired not only by self-interest. It was more of his stubbornness in order to lay the strong foundations of the American power and prosperity that the nation would relish for the years to come. 

The author also shows him as a far more human than anyone of us have encountered before. This goes back to his shame about the birth of his fiery aspirations to those intimate relationships with friends during childhood. The book should not only be taken as a portrait of Hamilton. It is a good story seeing America’s birth through one of the most prominent figures.

The book was the winner of the George Washington Book Prize in 2005. It is a very comprehensive book on the personality, which is artistically written by Ron by giving due attention to all the fine details. Scott Brick with his professional and straightforward tone.  This time makes it an even more special audiobook experience for the audience.
