Fulgrim is the fifth science fiction book in The Horus Heresy series by author Graham McNeill.
Under the command of the newly appointed Warmaster Horus, the Great Crusade continued.

Fulgrim, Primarch of the Emperor’s Children, leads his warriors into battle against vile alien enemies, unaware of the dark forces that have set their eyes on the Imperium of Man.

Loyalty is tested and every murderous whim is enjoyed as the Emperor’s Children take their first steps on the road to true corruption. The path will eventually lead them to the killing field of Isstvan V.
The wonderful story of Fulgrim during, before and after Horus’s fall into Chaos. Fulgrims character building is pretty good, with plenty of well-developed moments with Legion and his followers.

My only main complaint with this novel is that the ending feels rushed. One chapter we’re going with unique details and lore, the next we’re at the end battle. I didn’t feel right reading, but not completely ruined by this.

Also the wonderful development of brotherhood and friendship between Fulgrim and Ferrus Manus. The nice legend between the two of them really brings out a feeling of love and care between the two brothers.
