Honor Among Enemies is the sixth literary fiction book in the Honor Harrington series by author David Weber.
With political enemies, professional envy and scandals that sent her into exile, Captain Honor Harrington was given the chance to regain her career as an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy. She must take command of a “fleet” of armed merchants orchestrated by a jury with a crew drawn from the scum of her service and somehow prevent the pirates who used the Havenite War to plunder the Star Kingdom’s trade.
Honor Harrington’s first book, narrator Allyson Johnson and I not only corresponded via e-mail, but actually talked on the phone. At some point in this process, I replied to one of her e-mails by telling her that “Man-ti-core-ahn” is pronounced “Man-tik-er-” ahn.” I can’t say exactly how this happened at this point, other than blushing to reveal that the original e-mail was still intact, confirming to the world that it was indeed my fault.
