Jane and the Twelve Days of Christmas/ Being a Jane Austen Mystery, Book 12 – Audiobook Online

Jane and the Twelve Days of Christmas is the 12th mystery novel in the Being a Jane Austen Mystery series by author Stephanie Barron.
Christmas Eve 1814. Jane Austen was invited to spend the holidays with family and friends at Vyne, the beautiful ancestral home of the rich and politically prominent Chute family. During the twelve days of Christmas festivities, Jane and her team are in a celebratory mood: Mansfield Parkis is selling well; Napoleon was banned from Elba; British forces occupied Washington, DC; and on Christmas Eve, John Quincy Adams signed the Treaty of Ghent, which would end a war that no one in England really wanted.

Jane discovers that the joy of the holidays is fleeting. One of the Yuletide gatherers died in a tragic accident that Jane’s circumstances immediately looked upon with suspicion. The crash was actually a murder, the killer being one of Jane’s snow guests. Clues are scattered among cleverly choreographed charades, dark secrets come to light in living room games, and old friendships come back to haunt Christmas parties, Who can Jane trust to help her uncover the truth and prevent the killer from attacking again?
