I like the characters. I love murder mysteries. There is an overall plot that makes progress in this book but does not fully address it. The male hero turns out to be a very old and powerful vampire, as well as a very sexy alpha shifter. It almost starts out like Team Edward or Team Jacob. Not quite though. The heroes in this book are much more mature. Much better. But it is not clear who will get the girl.
