This is the first book I read by Lexi Blake. This is the 14th book in her Masters and Mercenaries series, these are really connected independent books, because I feel like the story I read is done. I had a lot of questions about the others in the book and I’m sure their stories would enrich this one for me but it didn’t take anything away from it. Love Another Day has captivated me so much that I’ll be sure to add all the others to my TBR so I can fully retreat into this world by the time the next book comes out.

Although I really liked the plot of this novel, for me, it was a bit heavy on sex. I know most other romance readers love that aspect but I could always do without it. The good thing about sex in this novel is that it always seems to push Steph and Brody forward as a couple. Those are the only sex scenes I appreciate in a book. The fact that the book isn’t filled with gratuitous sex makes up for the bulk, as far as I know.
