One good thing about Larry Correia is that you can always find something new in writer’s work though no abrupt changes are ever made in the basic story line.

The writer possesses a tendency to add a few new things every time he starts the next part of the series. The new characters and things add up with the old ones quite nicely and the blend is always superb.

This is the fourth one and we have seen in Monster Hunter International an ordinary man turning into a skilled hunter. Similarly in Monster Hunter Alpha Earl changing into a werewolf and fighting between the two sides of his personality. This time its survival issue for the hunting company as it faces tough competition in the form of a legion that assembles in Las Vegas.

The legion possesses one simple goal i.e to capture a monster that was created in the World War as a result of an experiment. Capturing of the monster would decide that which company will dictate terms in the future.

Owen however has other things in his mind that separates him from the team as tries to save the Sin city and the people of the town. His interest still remains with the protection of the masses that he is ready to do no matter what the circumstance are.

Oliver Wyman’s Sin city portraying lures us to listen to the book again and again. Writer has added the description of the clubs and the casinos but it is the narration that gives life to the gambling scenario. Even the monster hunters cannot save themselves from the temptations of Vegas.
