At first, Matthew Mortimer didn’t believe Hippolyta’s story that she was a wonderful rich heiress who had been kidnapped. He assumed she was a beggar, an actress, or worse. When his new companion washes away the mud from her surprisingly adorable face, and they share a breathless kiss, there’s no turning back.

This is a novel and not as long as the others, and therefore suffer because of it. Hoyt is a good buy for me, but I’m disappointed with this one because it’s not long enough and there’s no real chemistry between the two main characters… Too tame for me.
