The book was great but not many of the questions I had from the first book were answered. Some of them are, but the questions that have been answered pretty much only give rise to more questions. Of course I won’t reveal any of them here, but it must be said that this book moved the plot forward quite a bit. Jax and Emma are working together to try to figure out why her family wanted to get their hands on the castle and what really happened to Hunter North.

Jax and Emma’s romance is definitely heating up when they’re together at the Castle, though I have to admit it’s a little bit tiring when they go on and on and on. “Should we be together or not? we shouldn’t because my family hates your family”. Emma will be fine for a minute and then suddenly she thinks in her head that the family tragedy is too much and insurmountable. Then Jax will have to talk to her again. While I guess it usually leads to more Intimacy, this was pretty steamy so it served a purpose.
