 Like the previous books, this story too hints at the unification of a family after decades. A family that is going to unite this time comprises women only there are men present in the story but they are not the part of the original family.

 Meghann Dontess’s first one to get the introduction is the elder sister in the family who is currently working as an attorney. There was a time when she was in love with a man but after her divorce, she is not looking for any relationship whether it is the true blood relation of her sister. Claire the younger sister also has not found any match for her all these years and this time she thinks that she has found the perfect man for her. 

So she has invited her sister and mother to the wedding party who are not going crazy at all to meet her after all these years. Together the three women come on the same floor one last time and none of them ever hoped that the meeting would bring so much change in their lives. 

The audience starts listening about their past in the voice of Laural Merlington after they meet at the wedding party. Finally, issues that have been in the hearts of the family for decades come in the open and the family gets the chance to come together once more.
