Rebekah Ross has done the narration of The Last House Guest. The narration was not up to the mark and didn’t satisfy the expectation of the listeners either.

After one year of the death of a young guest under some mysterious circumstances, her best friend was under a lot of grief.

Littleport has always felt like a great place. It is an ideal spot for vacation but only for the wealthy elite people whose summer homes are by the coastline. There was a simple community of permanent residents whose livelihood depends upon serving the rich people. Typically, fierce friendship never grows between a summer girl and a resident. But, this is just what happens with the resident Sadie Loman and the tourist Avery Greer. Both these girls were inseparable and that continued to happen each summer for a decade. It ended with the sad demise of Sadie. Police ruled her death as a suicide. Parker, the brother of Sadie blames Avery for her death. Parker was also a local detective. Someone knows a lot more than saying. Avery was looking and trying hard to get her name cleared. But, that wasn’t easy.

The novel had a good start but soon it was going nowhere. It was disjointed with many flaws in the plot. It was a bit repetitive too. Megan Miranda has done some better work than this novel in the fictional category.
