Online Free Audiobook – The Nightingale By Kristin Hannah

Living in a world of peace is a real blessing for the people because war just changes everything for you including your personality. Time of peace makes us believe a lot of things that don’t exist in human personality. We think that we cannot live without our loved ones but when they are taken away because of war all we can think of is our survival.

Vianne and Isabelle the two sisters face such sort of torture during the World War as the Nazis invade their homeland i.e France. Vianne was living a peaceful life with her husband and young daughter when the war broke out. Her husband was forced to join the army. He left their house was also attacked by the Nazi soldiers. Vianne is forced to live with an enemy soldier to keep her daughter alive and get things going for the family.

Isabelle, a wanderer by nature, gets entangled in love for a moment or so and then as her lover deceives her she becomes a real loner afterward. Both sisters face a life-changer because of the war but they just don’t run away from the situation at all. Kristin Hannah talks about real woman power here, the two women in the novel are not facing the same circumstances although the enemy is the same. Still, they adapt and show zeal to survive.

Polly Stone never for once uses a tone with dismay in it during the narration. It is all positive about the two women who face quite negative circumstances. Get ready to forget The Great Alone and Firefly Lane after going through this one of a kind story by the same author. Women have been the highlight of the story. There are not many dominant male characters that are seen in the novel.
