Since Jane Jameson took over running the Vampire Council for Half-Moon Hollow, things have gotten a bit out of the ordinary, and that doesn’t sit well with headquarters. Who would have thought that vampires would be so bureaucratic and traditional?

Import a vampire from the company who is determined to overthrow Jane and get the council back on track – which means no more of this Kentucky neighborhood and mingling with humans, werewolves, witches or witches, anything else.

But Jane doesn’t care  about going back to the bad old days when the council was mired in corruption and prone to “accidentally” cannibals from time to time, but this time she could be bust. The good thing is there’s a fairly new face in town who could be the perfect distraction and help save Jane’s career.

As always, the tree grows stronger with each story letting the supporting characters grow into their own, the only downside is that Molly has a way of making us want more and more. and to see which of the various characters will have their own stories and be allowed to develop further, hopefully Dick Jane will have more Adventures, ask the vampire reps dragons in their area.

Yoke! I finished it a few weeks ago and forgot to review it and my memory is horrible. I’ll recap to say that if you’ve read the other Half-moon Hallow books in the series, this one is very similar in genre and feel but not boring/repetitive at all. I liked the characters and enjoyed the story very much, felt satisfied with the completion of it and looking forward to more from this series in the future.
