Pretty as a Peach is the fourth romance book in the Sex and Sweet Tea series by author Sawyer Bennett.
Mainer Farms has a rich family history, but it is also heavily indebted due to the influence of the ever-changing farming industry. Not wanting to let his family legacy be buried, Colt Mancinkus is willing to do whatever he can to save the farm.

Darby Culhane is a new farmer in Whynot, North Carolina, and she’s proving herself to be one of Colt’s bans. Darby wasn’t looking for anything but a fresh start, and she figured it all out. Get stable in? Check. Applying for a rural county grant? Check. Confront the frantic, fuming local farmer? Well, that’s not on the agenda.

Both beautiful and sweet, Colt couldn’t help but be drawn to… Darby’s peaches. Not really, she’s a peach farmer. Let’s get out of that mindset and head down to the farm to see what happens when circumstances force Colt and Darby to cooperate. They can see that the peach trees are not the only thing that blooms.

There’s a bit more drama for Colt Mancinkus in Pretty as a Peach, compared to his siblings in previous books in the Sex and Sweet Tea series. Still an easy listen though. Colt is such a lovely person when it comes to Darby and her daughter Lenny, it didn’t take long for him to fall in love with both of them.

I enjoyed the narrator’s performance, though it took me a while to get used to Alexander Cendese voicing Colt. He had played Pap Mancinkus in the previous 3 books, and at first, whenever Colt’s POV came out, I would hear the narrator’s voice and immediately think it was Pap!

I’m moving straight to the 5th book in the series – Gimme Some Sugar. It was Larkin’s turn to find love, and her love happened to Whynot on his Harley at the end of Pretty as a Peach.
