Pure Bliss is the sixth love book in the Nights in Bliss, Colorado series by Lexi Blake and Sophie Oak.
The town of Bliss, Colorado, has given Hope McLean a second chance at life, a gift she cherishes every day. Her past is dominated by dark secrets and regrets, most of which focus on a man named Christian Grady. All of that was behind her now, years of terror condensing into occasional nightmares or random feelings of being watched. She did her best to leave the past where it belonged – in the rearview mirror.

Growing up together, James Glen and Noah Bennett were best friends. They dream of growing up in Bliss, finding love, and settling down to share their lives on the Circle G farm. James will manage the day-to-day operations of the farm while Noah serves the town as a how to be a resident veterinarian. Everything was going to plan perfectly, until a woman stepped between them and their future fell apart. Noah leaves Bliss for New York City, and James must struggle to keep Circle G alive on his own.

Noah returns to Bliss with a mission to remake his life. When he saw Hope, he knew that his return home was like that. Hope’s kindness shines like a beacon calling him to her. Unfortunately, he wasn’t the only man interested in Hope. James is also interested in a beautiful girl with a mysterious past. He can’t be forced to choose between the woman of his dreams and his best friend again.

A romance begins to blossom, and a dark ghost from Hope’s past returns to take over her. To save Hope and themselves, James and Noah will have to rebuild the relationship they lost and fight together for their future with Hope.

James eventually decides to pursue Hope just a few days before his brother returns, sees her and wants her too. This is a somewhat familiar storyline with Hope hiding a secret and feeling unworthy, James angry at his brother who abandoned him and dry up and Noah returning but not understanding him. How much I hurt James. Hope has to admit her secret and they have to figure out how to mend their relationship and share it with her. Hope’s dangerous ex is also dragging on.

It’s great but for all that it’s unsettling, the ending feels a bit rushed and neat. Maybe I just want another hot scene with the three of them.
