I read these books so quickly that I really have no other way to say how much I have fallen in love with this world. There has to be something special about a series when you’ve read 15 books and you’re really excited because there are still about 30 more stories to read before catching up with the rest of the world and having to wait. . new ones to publish.

I love Eve and Roarke, they have come a long way as a couple and Eve in particular is still growing through each book. I really enjoyed watching her slowly starting to let not only Roarke but people like Peabody and Mira approach her so that she now has a small group of friends and people she cares about. rapidly developing. Eve is definitely not the easiest person to get to know but there’s no one you’d want to be with more than her if you’re having any trouble. She’s also a pretty cool cop and I really enjoyed watching her make the bad guys sweat in an interview, she knows exactly how to push their buttons and let them know they’re about to get busted. laid off for a very, very long time.
