Rainey Bell is every lesbian’s dream! Xena couldn’t hold the candle with this woman. Rainey is a little paranoid, okay, a lot paranoid. She should be, she has a monstrous past that people often raise with an ugly head like in this book. The girl has more weapons than a small army. They’re everywhere..on her, in her house, in her car, anywhere she can put a weapon, it’s there. A bad experience as an FBI agent, taught her to be vigilant (to some, paranoid) and armed. She fell out of love with the bottle and fell in love with a hot-headed redhead. That’s when life gets interesting. NOTICE. Bradshaw is an excellent storyteller. She weaves this story into an unforgettable experience. This is such an excellent book that I have actually read it three times and the experience is still as great as reading it for the first time.

It’s great that Katie and Rainey are together. It’s really about the person you love, not the label. Rainey can’t seem to decide if she wants to join the FBI. Katie is getting pregnant and Rainey isn’t sure. Earnie and Katie are learning to shoot. And someone is always trying to kill Rainey.
