Rider’s Revenge is the tenth book in The Last Riders series by author Jamie Begley.
Revenge is a seven letter word not for the faint of heart. It’s a word for those who have been wronged.

Jo Turner waited 5 long years for revenge to finally turn into revenge. Using Rider, the pretty-faced prostitute, was simply the price she was willing to pay to satisfy her desire for revenge. Little does she know, she made herself the target of something Rider swore to sacrifice his life to protect – The Last Riders.

When you wake the soldier, prepare for the consequences. Rider will teach her a valuable lesson: Revenge is a double-edged sword…and it cuts both ways.

Another good, long, involved story with great characters, interesting plot. Jamie’s stories are always well written.
This is Rider’s story, he seems to be quite flimsy at first and Jo, a character we’ve met in the previous books, certainly has his measure.
As the plot unfolds, characters from other books emerge and are related to varying degrees. I have to admit I’ve always liked Shade and he doesn’t disappoint here.
However, Rider is built especially well as his personality and personality is slowly brought to life.
I won’t give away any revelations but I just need to tell the author that she did the same thing to Rider as she did to Shade. Personally, I didn’t like the final ending (in both books). They are well written and emotional, but I don’t feel they are necessary. To use an analogy from the book, it’s like Jo’s culinary exploit – overcooked.
It’s definitely worth reading though.
