I really enjoyed this novel. I think I would love reading the grocery list if it was written by Lisa Jewell! It’s not her best work, but it’s well worth reading. I have laughed out loud many times in this book, anyway I can say that this is her funniest book. In the UK this book is titled ’31 Dream Street’, so note if you’ve read that book, ‘Roommate Wanted’ is exactly that! Sometimes it’s a bit confusing when publishers do that.

I was excited to read this book as I have had more than 40 roommates in my house over the past decade. There was a lot of potential and from the very first few chapters, I dropped it and kept it in my bookshelf. Maybe I should give it another shot? Sure, but I don’t have the energy to get through it.
