When The Last Riders are threatened by another motorcycle club and determined to take Lily, Shade is her only hope of survival in the approaching confrontation. Could their passion be Shade’s downfall?

This story is beautifully done. The characters, the tone, the development, the intimate scenes, even the possible plot twists are all handled skillfully. It took quite a while to read/listen, but there wasn’t really a single moment that I threw away. I planned to frustrate the single narrator, but with third-person omniscience, surprisingly, that part also works. Now, the only thing that bothers me is how far behind I am reading the rest of Begley’s novels.

Shade’s Fall is also worth listening to. This is book 4 in Begley’s The Last Riders series and this is Shade and Lilly’s story mainly told in Lilly’s POV. If you haven’t read or listened to Last Riders, I recommend you start with Razor and follow Jamie Begley’s reading or listening in order. Elizabeth Hart did a great job narrating Shade’s Fall Happy Listening!
