If you may not be familiar with the world of Dresden or have only read a few novels it is best not to check out this collection until you have finished Changing as most of the stories take place late in the year. timeline of the series.

There’s nothing here that can rock your world, Dresden fan or not, but the stories are generally quite entertaining and offer another twist on Chicago’s favorite fictional wizard . Depending on who your favorite supporting character is, some stories will be more engaging than others. My personal favorite is ‘Heorot’ if just because her focus on the very small character of Ms. Gard seems like the wrong choice but works so well. I hope we see more of her in future Dresden novels.
