So Long, Lollipops – Free Full Audiobook

So Long, Lollipops is a literary fiction book in the Until the End of the World series by author Sarah Lyons Fleming.
You should read the novel before listening to So Long, Lollipops. Unless you’re someone who likes to read the last page of a book first – in that case, enjoy!

Peter watched his new family drive away, certain that was the last time he saw them. Plans go bad for the best. Now, the plan is to go back to them. But sometimes plans go awry in the worst way.

Sometimes the only plan is to believe that everything will be okay, even if it’s almost unbelievable.

This novel has transformed Peter’s reappearance from something of a convenience into a real show of perseverance. His character arc in the first book was amazing (as was Anna’s, let’s be honest), and this story shows just how much he’s grown. It also shows that he has reached an understanding with himself that I really like.
And even though the ending is already known because it resembles the ending of book one, I still feel the itch to go back to the story when I have to stop listening.
The audio and narration quality of the audiobook is amazing, btw. This storyteller is amazing.
I just wish they didn’t include a passage at the end of this book. I’m not sure why they did that since this is book 1.5, but oh well. It’s a minor grievance that in no way detracts from the story.

For this book, we have a story about Peter Side. It’s okay, but I have a fundamental problem with the book, which keeps me from appreciating it as much as I did Until Apocalypse.

That’s the portion of Peter’s story, completed, at the end of the first book. He doesn’t really change, or evolve, in this novel. What you end up with, is a book where he does and sees everything, but I don’t feel he really learns anything. His personality hasn’t changed, or gotten more complicated for me because of reading it. I have yet to read book two to find out, but I cannot imagine that reading this book would affect my enjoyment of it. Usually that’s the job of additional documentation like this.
