I absolutely love these books. This is a fantastic series full of magic, fun, and potions, all set on the beach in an idyllic setting. The complexity of the characters’ relationships, both good and bad, captivates you right away and is hard to let go of. My only criticism is that sometimes the arguments or issues in the book are covered up rather than dismissed as I would like to see but other than that, this is a great series. I have read a few good books by Gina La Manas and this is my favorite by far! I’ll warn you before you read that this book has a rough ending and since the author just had a baby I’m impatiently waiting for book 7!!

Gina LaManna is such a creative writer. Every intricate detail of this book has been carefully considered. The flow of the story is so fluid and the story itself is so engaging that you won’t want to put it down, even after reading it! If you like magical places, interesting people and a great story, then you will need to read this book. The book can be read alone, but to fully understand the main character, Lily, and how her background has brought her to her present life, read the entire Magic of series. Mixology in order. You will like it!
