This is the second book I read by Debbie Peterson. Well researched and the plot is engaging and well thought out. One clear page turn, not only got me hooked on the plot, but I can’t wait to know what happens next! If you like mystery, romance, drama, fairy tales and the supernatural then this book is for you. But don’t be fooled, this is not a trashy romance novel, the author knows her history both present and past and weaves an interesting story. This book has content with cells and subplots throughout the book.

I enjoyed every page of this book! The ghost story is believable and solving the mystery of a Civil War veteran is right up my alley. I read Spirit of the Revolution first and as soon as I finished reading the last page, I immediately downloaded and read Spirit of the Rebellion. The story goes at a good pace and I don’t have to skip through the lengthy description pages and the ending makes me smile.
