As it turns out, this is far from the truth, currently lying in the middle of the road, where a strange discovery brings the First Lady’s motorcade to a halt. Disrespectful, ingenious and boisterously entertaining, Squeeze Me perfectly captures the absurdity of our times.

This book was recommended by a friend. Haven’t read anything by Carl Hiaasen before so I wasn’t prepared for the sheer joy I would experience whenever I could listen. Lots of thin-faced characters mimic real life, pandemic references and glimpses into the privileged lives of wealthy Palm Beach patrons who have close ties to the president . Favorite articles have really been enhanced by readers. I know I’ll be giggling about this for days to come.

This is just a good sarcastic joke that makes me laugh about things that often bring tears to my eyes from anger, frustration, and really despair. It is a special ability to write something that emphasizes the absurdity of a reality so bad that it makes you laugh out loud. Narrative is an essential element to keeping it there. Very interesting to listen to.
