Summoner 10 – Audiobook Online

Summoner 10 is the 10th science fiction book in the Summoner Series by author Eric Vall.
Gryff and his party traced Archon Miralea to her temple fortress. But that’s the easy part.

They must fight their way through hundreds of her frenzied followers, stay alive through the dangers of the forest, and try to defeat their Third Archon.

There is a good balance between story elements and the plot avoids too many predictable turns.
However, there are some inconsistent grammatical elements that make the story a bit confusing. At first, Sera and Phi were torn between speaking to Gryff in italics and no. Also, when Gryff is talking to the two goddesses, he seems to be talking more to us, the reader, than to them, which interrupts the flow a bit.
Again, overall, the story has a great flow and these little nudges don’t detract from it much. Would definitely recommend, especially if you’ve been into this many series already.

Good story that builds more characters. It depends on at least the last few books for this one to work. It is by no means a stand-alone story. Unlike previous stories, it doesn’t make sense for the protagonist to deal with the emotional impact, but some of the smaller interactions and behaviors will become more important as the story goes on.

This book doesn’t really achieve anything in the human storyline. If the rest of the series were to hit the plot like this it would be a boring long series. I think personally I will wait for the last book to see the final result, other books until then will be very predictable and repetitive.
