I was looking forward to Dylan and Audrey’s story. When they first met, Dylan succumbed to Audrey’s confidence and her outspokenness. It’s like watching mostly verbal foreplay at first, but it never gets any less hot. It’s the foreplay of the mind that Laurelin does so well. Audrey is Sabrina Lind’s sister, we met her in the duet Donovan and Sabrina.
This is an introduction to Dylan’s life and his intense attraction to Audrey Lind, a young woman young enough to be his daughter. I don’t know how Laurelin Paige makes these tortured hot men and super confident women who bring them money. This has really whetted my appetite for tortured hot men. While I wait for Sweet Fate, I will read Donovan’s again.

Dylan is not only 19 years older than Audrey but also the boss of her older sister, Sabrina. They met while she was on vacation from college to visit Sabrina and he was in the country on business.

Audrey’s sex life was so ‘blah’ she asked Dylan to teach her ‘one or two or seven things’ about sex. He agreed because they were only in town for a few days, then he would go back home to London and she would go back to university and it would all be over. However, nothing is as straightforward as that and they begin to develop feelings for each other but neither says anything and the two leave as planned.

I enjoyed their story, although I’m not sure about the 19 year age gap, but I would love to know what will happen between them.
