This audiobook finally gives fans a glimpse into the computational workings of Wilhuff Tarkin’s mind and ingenuity. The narrator excels and illustrates the story as best he can. If all future Star Wars novels are as good and engaging as they are, then we’re looking at a very cool time to be alive.

A well done back story for an interesting character exploring his past and role in the empire, the audio version of this story made me want to hear other stories revolving around the empire. The narrator is so good, I’ve read this book before listening and it has good replay value thanks to his acting. Highly recommended.
