Cursed, mated, and fought for their lives….
Warlock Nate Hawthorne just wanted a cup of coffee. Is that too much to ask? Clear. Because instead of precious caffeine, all he gets is cursed by a pack of werewolves who want to use him for his magic.
Now, the only way to repair the damage is to befriend a cranky and extremely charming alpha in the rival swarm, who happens to hate him. This is not how he wants to start his day.
Ian Armitage never intended to take Nate as his mate. The Hawthorne family cannot be trusted. Ian knew that better than anyone. The fact that he’s been craving a man so handsome for years? Completely unrelated. Ian was just doing what was necessary to protect his flock. This whole mating arrangement has nothing to do with love and never will. It’s his story and he sticks with it.
Nate and Ian will have to work together if they have any hope of stopping the herd’s enemies and averting disaster. That’s assuming they can stop arguing (and not hold hands) long enough to save the situation….
Great story, great characters, great emotions and great storyteller! I’ve been hooked on books lately and nothing could hold my attention until I started listening to this book! It caught my attention right away and it didn’t let go.
By far one of the absolute best books I have had the pleasure of hearing, from the story to the person who narrates it. Find yourself scared, excited, sad, and happy at the same time throughout the entire listening. Can’t wait to hear books 3 and 4 when they release the audiobooks.
