That’s the story. Another aspect that I liked about this book is that it’s a normal romance story, only the characters are mostly Asian. There’s no overt cultural fetish or non-white crap. These are ordinary people, at a party. All anxiety stems from Ria’s secret and how it has divided her and those she loves. THIS is what diversity is about. People do things that are normal to them without the conflict related to race/ability/gender/whatever.
