Haunted by his past. Hunt in the present. Not sure what is real.
Athson has seen things that aren’t there and has endured agony since his tragic orphanage at the hands of trolls and Corgren, the mage serving the dragon Magdronu. When a strange will mentions a mysterious bow in his possession, Athson isn’t sure if it’s real.
But the trolls that soon pursued him were all too real and dangerous. And they serve Corgren and his master, the hidden dragon, Magdronu.
Athson is embroiled in a quest by the Withling mystic, Hastra, to find the hidden Hart’s Bow. But Athson wasn’t always sure what the truth was and who his enemies were.
Starring Corgren and Magdronu, Athson frequently confronts danger, his grasp of reality, and the reasons behind his tragic past.
When I started the book, it didn’t seem interesting. As the story unfolds, it gets much better, I like Athson with all his challenges. It was interesting to watch the development of Athson and Limbeth. All the characters have something to gain. The best part is Gweld. I think my mouth was open. Are not expect at all.
I LOVE this book! It was a bit slow to read at first, but reading to the last page I was horrified, this is definitely not the end of the story! I am very much looking forward to the next part. And I must say, I am an avid reader, self-taught so it is often difficult to surprise me but when I read the last page, I was completely surprised and really looking forward to watching. what REALLY happened to the character in question! I wholeheartedly recommend this book.
