Deception, betrayal and death lurks ‘every corner of Vieux Carre, and it’s up to Lewrie’s quick but skeptical wits to claim their day of survival, while also making it happen. a very personal revenge for his enemies.
This is my second time reading this book. The first time was a few years ago, so it took me a while to realize that I was re-reading it. This time I enjoyed it as much as the last time. Dewey lambdin writes a good sea story and is a pretty fair guy even when the action takes place on land. This is a book I can recommend to anyone interested in reading about this.
