Iris Scanlon, Half-Moon Hollow’s only daytime vampire instructor, knows more about the undead than she would like. Doing all their daytime errands – from letting the plumber in to picking up some chilled O neg – gives her a glimpse into the less glamorous side of vampire life. Her rules are strict; Relationships with vampires are purely business, not friendship – and certainly not anything else. But then she discovers her newest client, Cal, has been poisoned on his kitchen floor and only Iris can help.

Cal – who would be extremely sexy, if Iris allowed himself to think so – offered Iris a hefty fee to hide him in her place until he found out who wanted him dead for good. Although he is overbearing, unfriendly and doesn’t seem to understand the difference between “staff” and “servant”, Iris agrees and finds herself breaking more and more of her own rules to help him. ta – especially the rules regarding nudity. It turns out that what her quiet little life needs is some intrigue and romance – in her own stray vampire form.

The best team in Audio will make for another great adventure. Molly Harper has by far the best sense of humor and Amanda Ronconi has brought that to life. This has become one of my favorites from this author. It’s more detailed and descriptive than the Werewolf series (though I love them too!) with the same sarcastic humor as the Nude series.

I love all of her books and hope she writes many, many more while partnering with the best storyteller in the business. I promise that anyone with a sense of humor will love any of Molly’s books. They are my favorite!
